Terms and Conditions / PDPA
(1) The organising team/ company reserves the right to postpone or make changes to event dates and/or times should extenuating circumstances arise.
(2) Whilst reasonable precaution will be taken by the Service Provider to ensure the safety of the participants, I understand that I take part in the Event at my own risk. I confirm and agree that the Service Provider and its representatives, agents and sub-contractors will not be held liable for any personal injury or death arising from my participation in the Event.
(3) The information you have given is honest and complete, and you have not withheld any information regarding your physical or medical condition.
(4) This registration is subject to the acceptance by the organising team/ company and you will receive a full refund if the registration is rejected.
(5) The organising team/ company will send you a confirmation email after you have submitted your application and made full payment. Your application will not be processed unless full payment is made.
(6) All accepted registrations are non-cancellable and non-refundable. However, it is transferable to another date or to someone.
(7) The organising team / company reserves the right to change the terms & conditions without prior written notice.
(8) All materials including handouts, notes, videos, eBook provided by the organising team/ company will remain as their intellectual property and you will agree not to reproduce or infringe on their rights without seeking their agreement.
(9) You consent to providing your personal particulars to the organising team/ company for the purpose of effective communication and dissemination of information relating to your participation of the event and for the subsequent liaison and follow-up activities. The organising team/ company assures you that your personal particulars will be kept secured and utilised on the need to know basis.
(10) I consent , unless otherwise ( specific request to disagree with entire clause 10 must be in written text either via WhatsApp no. +65 9887 2725 or email to admin@wellnessretreatasia.com is acceptable ) to the use of my photograph, voice, likeness and image in any broadcasts of this event and in subsequent productions drawn from video or audio recordings of this Event. I agree that the photographs and recordings may be published or broadcasted in the Service Provider’s website, social media and in publicity materials. I agree that all recordings, articles, quotes, photographs, films, audio or video and/or any reproductions of the same in any form are the property of the Service Provider. The Service Provider are hereby released from any and all claims, demands, costs and liability that may arise from the use of these interviews, recordings, photographs, videotapes or films and /or any reproductions of same in any form, as described above, arising out of being interviewed, recorded, photographed, videotaped or filmed.
Indemnity
I hereby warrant and acknowledge:
1. Health Declaration
I confirm that I am in general good health and do not suffer from any medical condition, illness, or disability that would render me unfit to participate in the Retreat Detox & Wellness Programme (“Programme”). I acknowledge this is my responsibility to consult a medical professional prior to participation if I have any health concerns.
2. Assumption Of Risk
I acknowledge and fully understand that participation in the Programme and related activities may involve inherent risks, hazards and dangers, including but not limited to physical exertion, dietary changes, and wellness treatments , which may result in injury, illness, loss, or damage.
3. Informed Participation
I confirm that I have read and accepted the terms and conditions stated in the registration form and that I have been given the opportunity to discuss the Programme with the organizer or its representatives to clarify any concerns or questions prior to participation.
4. Release and Indemnity (Subject to Organizer’s Fault)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release and indemnify the organiser, the organising company, and their respective officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Programme or any related activities to the extent such claims arise from inherent risks of the Programme or from my own acts or omissions. Nothing in this clause shall exclude or limit the organiser’s liability for personal injury, loss, or damage arising directly from its own gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.
5. Responsibility for Guests
Where I am accompanied by guests, I accept responsibility for ensuring that they are aware of and comply with the terms of this acknowledgement, and I agree to indemnify the organiser accordingly.
Acknowledgement & Acceptance
I hereby declare that I have read and fully understood the contents of the Indemnity Form and acknowledge the risks involved. I have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to all the provisions contained in these Terms & Conditions.
